Cfp for Panel: A Map of Personal Location

Hosted by Leonie Hodkevitch, MSc, Vienna, Austria

The mutual influence of facts and fiction in arts, especially through visualization, as it happens in literature and film, and its impact on our collective memory is a fascinating topic that needs permanent and individual update. Together, we can create a common map of associations and images that have or will become part of our identity. The similarity and differences of reception between cultures form the challenge of the panel.

Papers are invited the following topics:

Literature and Identity

Identity in Art

Location and ToposIdentity

Memory and Disassociation of Memory

Papers should be sent to info@socialsciencesandhumanities.com by 20th June 2014.
